A translator attentive to your subject and your voice.
I am a native French translator based in Spain, working from English and Spanish into French. I combine an international perspective with close attention to voice, meaning and context. My work bridges published fiction and nonfiction with specialist translation in cybersecurity, apps, medical equipment, clinical trials and marketing.
My published translations appear under Fran Rajewski and Françoise Rajewski. Several nonfiction editions credit me alongside Jérôme Duquène; his revision portfolio also identifies me as translator of the fiction listed here. An MA in English and American Language, with minors in Spanish, Polish and German; an EMFEC qualification in Modern Languages Teaching; and a Language Proficiency Degree in Polish. I work with Trados, memoQ, Wordfast, Crowdin, Smartcat, Smartling and Across.
